Today I really tried to eat better. For breakfast I had a low-fat yogurt parfait, with fruit compote and granola. Breakfast is tough here because there are pastry shops all over the place, and I have to completely ignore my urge for chocolate croissants.
For lunch, I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a roll, which couldn't have been that bad.
Snack, well, I went to Harrods and came across their food section. They had a whole department just for chocolates. I had to sample a few. They were amazing. And tiny. I had about 4.
We ate dinner at an Italian place, and I had a chicken, mushroom and tomato pasta with marinara sauce. I tried to eat just a small portion of it, less than half. Hopefully it did the trick and I manage to maintain....
Why is it so hard to have will-power on vacation?
More tomorrow...

I think the will powere things shuts off somewhere around "chocolate croissants". Good luck with that one! And it does sound like you're doing a great job with the careful thing:)
Sounds like you are doing waaaay better than I would!
Yes, vacations are a weak point for me as well. Just do your best!!
I would hope that when on vacation I would let myself enjoy myself, and that the key would be to not "stuff" myself, instead to eat till full.. and stop... With the diet I am trying right now (email me if you would like for info) if you know you are going to "overeat" at lunch you drink a shake and enjoy yourself. there is a powder called Almased which helps boost your metabolism, you drink it with 12 oz of water before or after your meal that was a binge. - thanks for listening to my spill....
