Exercise More
Up to this point, I have been very complacent in my exercise habits. I have an elliptical machine, which I am very good at using, I average about 40 minutes 4-5 days a week. I am not satisfied with the amount of weight I have lost in the past few months, so as I was working out this morning I had an epiphany. I was watching an Oprah episode that featured "The Biggest Loser" winners and when I realized how many calories they burned each day, I realized that I needed to step up my game. Obviously I can't work out 5-6 hours per day like they do on the show, but I can do more than I am doing. I am not challenging myself, and I think that is what I need to see better results. My new goal is to continue my existing work outs, but 3 nights a week, add something else. I live in a neighborhood that has a 2-mile perimeter sidewalk around the tract, and I know I could grab my ipod and run that 2 miles 3 days a week. It is harder to do at night, but I know I need to do more to see more results. Unfortunately, just eating right is not enough. Sad to say, but I am finally getting it.

Great job on deciding to exercise more! I'm sure it will help you. It is inspiring to see the Biggest Loser folks. Although, unfortunately, we don't all have 5-6 hours a day to devote to exercise.
I loved the biggest loser episode on Oprah! :) I also found it very inspiring. Best of luck with your new exercise plan.
Love hearing from all you girls doing the skinny dance! And I hate it when I realize upping the exercise is the only option. It does work though, so good luck!
